Lauren Shantall, Tracy Lynch, Kerstin Eser, Kim Bougaardt, Heidi Sparks and Sameenah Ahmed all with a love and passion for good design and aesthetics make up the team at the Freeworld Design Centre. It is South Africa’s first trade-orientated design centre, and provides a décor consultation and 3D rendering service for architects, interior designers and decorators, property developers and owners.

KIM BOUGAARDT

Could there be any better place to work for a colour junkie?  With a decor stylist’s background moving into the Free-world was a step closer into dealing hands-on with a few other loves: decor and people.  And so it is that I’m left to play, create, entertain and inspire – myself and others – on a daily basis in this colourful world we at the Freeworld Design Centre are forging.  I call that a win-win situation.

 

 

 

 

LAUREN SHANTALL

The brains behind the Freeworld Design Centre. This talented female is who we have to thank for executing the vision Freeworld Coatings had.  Out of the box thinking, an excellent orator, creative, and allowing creativity to reign; Lauren’s a one-of-a-kind.  Her contribution to this blog will no doubt keep us intrigued and thinking about life, love and colour.  Three things that go hand in hand – in our opinion.

 

 

 

KERSTIN ESER

Cool, calm and oh, so, talented!  With a sixth sense for all things trendy as well as forecasting trends, Kerstin is the one we turn to, to add a little sparkle to anything that needs that X-factor.  Having worked in the world of decor magazines for over a decade as a stylist, her natural creative flair and gut feel for what works and looks good is made to look easy through her eyes.

 

 

 

 

 

 

TRACY LYNCH

Always looking at the positive and finding solutions along with her vast talent and knowledge on colour and decor is what Tracy brings to the Freeworld team. Best at conceptualising and coming up with new and fresh ideas, she’s the bundle of energy that keeps us motivated and in check with what’s happening out in the real world.

 

 

 

 

 

HEIDI SPARKS

Heidi’s our little engine that can.  A whizz on the computer, her love of design and interiors comes through in everything she does.  Always willing to go the extra mile she aims to get the job done – and Heidi definitely can.

 

 

 

 

SAMEENAH AHMED

Sameenah has a love for spaces that are contemporary and modern which comes across in who she is and the work that she does.  She has a sense of humour that keeps the team on their toes and talking.  As an interior designer she brings her technical know-how and decor knowledge of what works spatially, to play.
