Katrin Coetzer is my new favourite find. I first saw her work at the Paper is You Exhibiton at Salon 91 a month ago and she is about to take part in another group exhibition. It is not all the often that I find an artist that I want to commission instantly.

I am moving into my new flat in Kalk Bay over the weekend, and have decided to commission Katrin  to do a piece for me with Acacia blooms as my inspiration. I will let you all know how it goes – from commission, to framing, to hanging – and hopefully give you some helpful tips along the way.
